GSBA offers students free shuttle downtown

Riverfront Park

Students who want to go out to dinner, do some shopping or even just see a movie but have a lack of transportation now have another option provided by GSBA. For the rest of the fall semester, GSBA will be providing free Friday night shuttles to downtown Spokane. The shuttle, which runs every half-hour, leaves from and returns to Desmet circle from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.

This free shuttle is a great way to save some money on a taxi and spend some time in downtown Spokane. For those over 21, Zola has a great atmosphere and an even better happy hour. Not 21 yet? That’s fine because downtown Spokane still has plenty of options. Restaurants such a Red Robin, Olive Garden, Madeleine’s Cafe and Twigs are all delicious options to grab a quick snack before exploring some of the shops. And if you’re interested in seeing a movie, stop by Crosby and pick up some discounted AMC movie tickets before heading down to the AMC at River Park Square.

Have any questions about the shuttle? Contact GSBA or stop by the GSBA office in upstairs Crosby.
