For anyone wanting to give back to the community, but not really sure how, a great opportunity is about to occur. Tomorrow, September 19th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Cataldo hall, CCASL will be holding it semi-annual service fair. Almost 100 non-profit organizations will gather in Cataldo and offer information for those interested in service. According to Gonzaga.edu, “Agencies in attendance offer opportunities to work with women, children, the homeless, senior citizens, or to help with advocacy efforts in environmental and social justice. There are multiple mentoring programs, hospice care, as well as post-graduate volunteer programs.”
Also, for all the seniors who want more after post-graduation options, make sure to stop by the Post-Grad Service Fair tomorrow. This will be held from from 5-6:30 p.m. and give students an opportunity to meet with recruiters representing agencies such as the Peace Corps, Americorps, JVC, Teach for America and more.
