6 Easy Frozen Treat Recepies To Keep You Cool This Summer

Hot day in the Spo? Whether you are looking for fruity, savory, or a sweet popsicle, we have compiled recipes for this summer’s hottest frozen treats. Best part is they are quick and easy to make!

1. Strawberry Lemonade Pops



  • 1 (12 ounce) can of frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 3 cups of cold water
  • 1 (16 ounce) package of frozen sliced strawberries


  1. In a large pitcher or bowl, stir together the lemonade concentrate and the water
  2. Blend strawberries in a blender under they are pureed and the mixture is smooth
  3. Fold in the strawberry puree with the lemonade
  4. Pour into plastic molds and freeze for 4-5 hours


2. Chocolate Vanilla Pudding Sickles



  • 2 Cups Vanilla Pudding
  • 2 ounces of bittersweet chocolate, melted


  1. Divide the pudding into 2 small bowls while it’s still warm
  2. Add the chocolate to one bowl and stir until well combined
  3. Refrigerate both bowls of pudding, covered with plastic wrap, until chilled, about 30 minutes.
  4. Spoon 1/4 cup of the chocolate pudding into each of 4 ice-pop molds or four 4-ounce paper cup and freeze for 10 minutes
  5. Remove from freezer and top each with 1/4 cup of the vanilla pudding
  6. Insert wooden sticks and freeze for 3 hours.




3. Vegan Watermelon Popsicles



  • 2 1/2 cups deseeded watermelon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice


  1. Simply blend the watermelon, and any other flavor ingredients in a blender and pour the mixture into Popsicle trays
  2. Freeze for 3 to 4 hours or until the pop is frozen solid



4. Gummy Bear Popsicles



  • Gummy Bears
  • Sprite


  1. Fill molds about 3/4 of the way full
  2. Drop in gummy bears
  3. Place popsicle stick into mold
  4. Freeze until frozen all the way through




5. Cooke Dough Ice Pops



  • 1-1/4 cups milk (skim, 2% or whole, your choice)
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons mini semisweet chocolate chips


  1. In a microwave-safe container or glass measuring cup, microwave milk for 30 seconds or until warm to the touch
  2. Add brown sugar and salt and stir until dissolved. Add vanilla
  3. Place 1/2 tablespoon chocolate chips in the bottom of each ice-pop mold or in small paper cups
  4. Top with milk mixture. Insert sticks and place molds in freezer
  5. Freeze until solid, at least 3 hours.



6. Salted Honey-Vanilla Frozen Yogurt Pops




  • 5 containers (5.3 oz each) of greek vanilla yogurt
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • Juice of 1/2 small lemon
  • Coarse sea salt to taste (about 1 teaspoon)
  • 8 to 10 craft sticks (flat wooden sticks with round ends)


  1. In large bowl, stir together yogurt, honey, lemon juice and sea salt to taste.
  2. Divide yogurt mixture evenly among 8 to 10 (3-oz) frozen ice-pop molds. Tap molds on countertop several times to get rid of any bubbles.
  3. Insert sticks into center of each mold. Cover; freeze at least 4 hours or until frozen.
