Ben Yaks Back – 4/23

For some reason, the app Yik Yak has been insanely popular at GU. Yik Yak is an anonymous Twitter feed where people can say whatever they want, which can prompt some inappropriate content. Yik Yak also uses location services on your phone, so the Yaks you see are guaranteed to be from people in your area.

“There are 7 billion people in the world; each living a life as complex and experience filled as mine. I might simply play a passerby in someone else’s life only for a split second…man that’s crazy”

Looks like someone’s celebrating Earth Day the right way. This would have a lot more of an impact if it wasn’t sandwiched in between two posts about how grabbing booty is the best.

“CrosBAE, please don’t leave us”

This is why St. Mary’s hates us. It’s Yaks like this that’ll make graduating just a little bit easier.

“You know it’s love when gross things like farts become cute when your boyfriend does it”

Awww! Parts of your fecal matter has flown through the air and into my nose! Bae, you shouldn’t have!

“Guys that are injured [heart eyes emoji]”

…What? Usually you guys get your hormones in a tizzy about tall guys or muscular guys, but this is a new one. All it takes is a full body cast and it looks like I have a date!

“Pudding cups come in packs of 4 for $1 at safeway. I am 20 years old and currently making my way through four pudding cups. I am a grown woman.”

Pudding is sweet because it’s just like thicker chocolate milk. I really don’t blame you on this one, 4 for $1 is an amazing deal. I hope you bought more than one pack.

“Shoutout to the girl that was squatting over 3 plates in the gym today!!! I’m still so impressed.”

That’s nothing. Call me when she squats over something cool, like a tub full of knives or a pit of fire.

“Why does Kylie Jenner even need to darken her skin, isn’t she dark enough already standing in her sisters’ shadows?”

Eh…if you use that bit in your open mic, don’t open with it. Somehow you messed the timing up though text.

“I have an irrationally extreme hatred for WSU and all of its ‘students'”

Why is “students” in quotes? It’s fun to make fun of WSU because we’re smarter and funnier, but there’s no need to make them feel worse about themselves. They try too. Sort of.
